One Comment on “Willard Bay State Park”

  1. Pat Allensworth says:

Stayed at state park in a 35 ft 5th wheel 3,4 and 5 Oct 2022.
    Easy access and good sites.
    Flies and mosquitoes atrocious.
Arrived and paid for 3 nites. Nothing on check in board regarding reservations for any site. After sightseeing on 3rd day, arrived back with host and other rv waiting at our site. Others had also reserved the site we were in we were forced to move to another site (no easy undertaking). We hadn’t departed for sightseeing until after 1015 AM, and hadn’t been informed that that site had a reservation against it
Advised campground host that we had been there for two nights already, and hadn’t been told the site was reserved. The host now had two unhappy campers, us and the people who had to wait for us to move to set up in their reserved site.
The host should have the responsibility to ensure this doesn’t happen. To do that, there should be a list of upcoming reservations posted at the site checkin box, and post reservation notices at the individual sites (or post notes describing the dates the site is available at the site.).
I would also add that the current camp host’s site looks like a homeless camp – trashy.
