Boulder Group Camp Overview

Boulder Creek Group Campground is located on a ridge south of Big Bear Lake and can accommodate up to 40 people and 8 vehicles.  Amenities include 5 picnic tables, 1 double pedestal grill, 1 group fire ring and vault toilets. Trash service is not provided (pack in / pack out).

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Fishing, boating and swimming at Big Bear Lake are popular activities. Anglers can look forward to trout, bluegill, crappie, catfish and largemouth bass, among other fish.

The Big Bear Discovery Center is located about 10 miles from the campground, on the other side of Big Bear Lake. A visitor center, interpretive trails and educational programs are available, as well as accessible flush restroom facilities.

Other campgrounds in the area include: Bluff Mesa Group, Grays Peak Group Camp and Shady Cove Group Camp.
