John F. Kennedy Park Campground is located right along the Little Red River just below Greers Ferry Dam and has 68 spacious campsites with electric hookups. Thirteen of the sites also have water hookups.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 75 feet). Each site also has a paved parking spur, table, fire ring and grill. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot-water showers, dump station and trash collection. The park also has a boat launch ramp, picnic area, picnic shelter, playground and camp/park host.  Cell service is fair in the area.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle-boarding, boating, water sports, swimming, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

In his last major appearance before his death, President John F. Kennedy stood on a flag-draped platform overlooking the just-completed Greers Ferry Dam and spoke of the prosperity the lake would bring to the region.

Other campgrounds nearby include Dam Site and Old Highway 25 Park.
